Many of us know about the Chris Brown and Rihanna incident that took place some time ago. Whether you agree or disagree is another thing. Recently, Mary J. Blige was accused of hitting or "Chris Browning" her husband after, allegedly, he looked at a waitress inappropriately. Who knew Chris Brown would coin that phrase but that's what happens when you're famous and you do something horribly ignorant...you get recognition and become "the man".
Anyhow, I had to give Mary her props. I've seen all too many times when a woman is cheated on by her significant other, she will call the other woman and harass her and call her all sorts of names as if it were this woman's fault your man cheated on you. I must say, that's why we don't rule now ladies. Get your priorities straight! Instead of getting mad at this other woman shouldn't you be mad at your significant other whom you thought had enough love and respect for you not to do something so hurtful...that's if that's what the relationship is about of course...cause we know some aint!
So let me pose this question: Why would one get so mad at the "other" instead of their lover? Or, in Mary's case, why didn't she cuss this waitress out? Does this say something about who we are and what we value? GT TV recently interviewed a former prostitute who equated love with sex. She spoke of similar issues. Just sayin...
PS- Captcha was acting dumb for a while but I think we fixed it.
