Day 6
No I did not abandon my exercise regime. I had an unfortunates accident. Two Fridays ago I had a photoshoot...one that went terribly wrong. After the shoot I scratched out my contact lens and was left with a dozen microscopic scratches in my eye. Yea. Ouch! I have been unable to watch TV or sit at a computer since. Today is like the first day I actually started working out and typing on the computer. I did not even work out. I stretched and did squats for 20 minutes before I had to see my Eye Neurologist (no, that's not the scientific name).
So, more health problems on top of more health problems but I'm not cryin'. For days I sat in a dark room and boy was it miserable. Last night, I told myself to stop. Like seriously. It was the same as when battling Lyme Disease. I used that as an excuse to allow myself to stop focusing on my eating and exercising. But I had enough. I never want to feel the way I felt before and so all day I have been repeating to myself "you are healthy and strong". I swear I'll be ok.
Friday I get a MRI done and I've detailed a new workout regime. One that won't allow me to get bored or make excuses. One that will keep me going. It includes a mix of boot camp, aikido, boxing and yoga...and it begins now...
