For almost four years after Hurricane Katrina, FEMA has provided survivors with temporary trailer living. The housing program was supposed to end two years ago but was extended. Now the Obama administration is refusing to give another extension. In a time of a recession do you think it's a good idea for the program not to be extended? I mean, yes, they have lived their for many years, and yes some of them were probably capable of finding housing but we have to remember the communities have yet to be rebuilt, employment is at an all time low and many of the people living there are elders. Still thinking there's no way tax dollars should be paying for this? I'm not sure.
