Day 68
Keeping on weight is so hard to do. Recently, I've started a diet that would assure I keep a blend of "thickness" and muscle even when I did not have the time to eat or work out. However, this regimen included weight lifting and exercise which I decided I'd be ok with for now.
For the past week I've been including supplements in my daily eating. Mixed with raw veggies and several egg whites in the morning I have been downing 56 drops of Dong Quai and Maca root. A few days ago I began 2 capsules of Fenugreek and after filming the show with Dr. Mac I included her Bella Nutri supplement for healthy skin, hair and nails.
I know what you are thinking. Gigi this is a lot of additional additives. How will you come to know what works and what doesn't? Very well. I have not been using the recommended amounts for Dr. Macs Bella Nutri. Instead I've been using one capsule a day until I am ready to double it. I am ok and willing to take these steps slowly and give my body the opportunity to accept these additional nutrients. After day 4 of eating raw greens and taking my supplements I noticed increased energy and a decrease in hunger. My concentration was on point and I was putting in 12 hour work days.
After a few more days, with the addition of heavy weight lifting and focusing on my bottom I had went from 118 to 122 to 125 and then 127. This was all in a matter of about one week. I knew sooner or later I would not be able to keep up this bottom thickness...yes my bottom was getting heavier than my top... so I decided to visit an organic supplements shop and purchased some organic soy protein mix. BOY THIS STUFF IS GREAT WITH HONEY AND HONEY ALONE!
Don't go anywhere as I keep up this diet and see if these supplements work on enhancing my muscular and feminine capacity :-)

Gather! Men, women and children!
Too often people don't wash their feet. They don't wash other parts regularly but we won't get into that. The feet are often neglected and unappreciated. We rarely wear the proper shoe for our unique feet in order to give them the support they need to carry us around. We barely give them a break and rub them or have someone rub them for us. We don't stretch our feet and toes and then of course who's washing their feet everyday?
All of this leads up to crusty feet. You know exactly what I mean. I am talking about the cracked skin on the heel and probably under your big toe (where much pressure is exerted if you walk anything like me...on my toes). No pedicure will cure this. They will do their very minimal treatment and once the cheap lotion dries that they apply, you will be left with the same crust you walked in with.
Well, I have the only solution that's 100%! You can pedi all day. You can loafer it or foot stone it all day. You can apply oils and butters to it everyday while wearing socks or plastic bags...well that may help but you get my drift. The only way to defeat foot crust is to take it back to the cavemen era. What do you think they did? They scrubbed their feet is what they did. With their finger nails! That's the solution people and I'm not making it up. Get in the shower and using both hands apply soap and get the scratching that heel. It's going to feel funny especially if your ticklish but I guarantee it will work! Faster and better results than any other treatment and its chemical free and costs nothing. I think the crust also helps your nails stronger but it could just be me. I have been doing this for weeks now and the bottoms of my feet are soft and beautiful and I don't even lotion them everyday!
So people. When in doubt think "what would the cavemen do".
This Sunday, at 2 a.m., we all will have to set our clocks back by one hour. If you are anything like me, this time change completely throws you off in every way possible. NSF recommends a few ways to help you adjust.
· Maintain your regular bedtime Saturday night, when clocks move back, and awaken at your regular time on Sunday morning. This can give you an “extra” hour of sleep the next morning and help reduce your sleep debt;
· Block out light and keep your sleeping area dark. Standard time causes the sun to rise about an hour earlier. This can impact sleep, especially for people accustomed to awakening before or around sunrise. The light itself can disturb sleep, so it is always best to sleep in a darkened room;
· Increase the light when you wake up. Light has an alerting affect that may help you wake up. It will also help adjust your biological clock to the “new” sleep schedule;
· Staying awake at night or sleeping until your desired wake-up time may be helped by gradually moving bedtime and awakening later by 15 minutes every one to two days.
A few other tips I think would help:
· Stay away from caffeinated beverages.
· Don’t exercise right before bed for a few days before and after.
· Eat more foods that will give you energy. VEGGIES!!
· Drink plenty of water (at least 8 cups) throughout the day but not for a few hours before bed.
